In a landmark move for the Indian motorcycle industry, Royal Enfield has stepped into the electric era. Known globally for its iconic thumping engines and timeless retro design, the brand is now preparing to redefine its legacy with its first-ever electric motorcycle.

Flying Flea EV Series – RE’s Electric Entry

Royal Enfield is finally entering the electric motorcycle space with its Flying Flea brand — a bold step toward future mobility.

  • Expected Launch: April 2026 in India. 
  • Type: Electric motorcycle with heritage-inspired design. 
  • Positioning: A lifestyle EV — not a pure commuter — blending retro cues with modern battery tech. 
  • Price (estimate): Around ₹2 – 3 lakh.

Flying Flea S6

  • Launch Window: Likely late 2026. 
  • Form: Scrambler style variant — more rugged looks and possibly enhanced off-road capability within urban contexts. 

These EVs represent Royal Enfield’s first steps toward electric motorcycles and could appeal to new riders seeking fun, nimble city machines.

Apart from its first EV motorcycle, Royal Enfield is also expected to introduce several new models in 2026.

1. Bullet 650 – The Classic Reborn

One of the most anticipated launches in 2026 is the Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Unveiled & Specs, a modern twin-cylinder incarnation of the timeless Bullet.

  • Launch: Expected early 2026, likely around March in India. 
  • Engine: 647.95 cc parallel-twin (same basic unit seen across RE’s 650 family). 
  • Design: Classic Bullet proportions, teardrop fuel tank, wire-spoked wheels, benched seat, and retro look with modern details. 
  • Price (expected): Roughly ₹2.8 – 3.4 lakh ex-showroom in India. 

This model blends heritage styling with a significantly more refined and capable engine — appealing to riders who want authentic Bullet character with modern touring comfort.

2. Himalayan 750 – Bigger Adventure Machine

For adventure riders, an all-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is expected.

  • Segment: Mid-sized adventure touring (bigger than the current 450). 
  • Engine: Likely a new 750 cc twin with around 50–55 PS. 
  • Showcase: Prototype seen under development and expected in production soon. 
  • Production Launch: Likely late 2026 / possibly at EICMA 2026. 

This marks a significant move for RE — entering a segment currently dominated by global adventure bikes with more power and capability.

3. Continental GT 750 – Bigger Cafe Racer

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 — a larger café racer sibling to the popular 650 — is also on the horizon.

  • Expected Launch: 2026. 
  • Style: Classic café racer with modern performance. 
  • Engine: Twin-cylinder 750 platform shared with other big-bike REs. 

This model aims to strengthen RE’s performance and heritage DNA in the higher capacity cruiser space.

4. Scrambler 450 & Other Middleweight Bikes

Royal Enfield is also expanding its lineup in the 450 cc class:

  • Scrambler 450: Expected around March 2026 — a lightweight scrambler with modern chassis and premium components like USD forks and digital dash.
